Statement of Faith

We believe:

  1. That God is the creator of the universe both of the seen and unseen realms and that God the creator is also the giver of life.
  2. That the Holy Bible is God's word personally spoken by God for mankind for the purpose of revealing Who He is. It is without error in all issues to which it speaks.
  3. In One Holy, Almighty God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature amd co-equal in glory.
  4. That the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, without ceasing to be God, became man by the Holy Spirit and by the virgin birth; that He lived a sinless life, died and rose again on the third day; that He ascended to heaven and is coming again for His own.
  5. That the death of Jesus on the cross provided complete atonement for all the sins of the world therefore cleansing those who believe in Him from their sin to then receive the Holy Spirit, and by receiving the Holy Spirit be "Born Again", thus becoming children of God and inheritors in the Heavenly Kingdom.
  6. That the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin; that He is the divine agent in regeneration by whom all believers are baptized into the body of Christ, the church; that He indwells and seals them unto the day of redemption. He is the divine teacher who guides believers in all truth.
  7. That God created man in His own image and in the state of innocence. Through Adam's transgression, "sin entered into the world, and death through sin," and consequently, mankind inherited a corrupt nature, being born in sin and under condemnation.
  8. That salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace through faith in the lord Jesus Christ, and received uniquely through personal repentance of sin.
  9. That the church universal is a spiritual organism composed of the regenerated who are baptized into that body by the holy Spirit at the time of the new birth; that the local church has the responsibility to provide for the edification and the fellowship of believers, and to propagate the gospel in all the world.
  10. In the bodily resurrection of all mankind, the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to everlasting judgment.
