Because Christ Came to Restore, We Pray with Hope

This Christmas, we remember that God stepped into a broken world to restore us. Because He came, we lift up our brothers and sisters living in hardship, danger, and persecution, asking the Lord to bring His restoring presence into every situation.

Pray for comfort and joy as they celebrate Christmas in a new city, far from family. Ask God to open doors for relationships, discipleship, and Gospel conversations, and pray that they would sense Immanuel—God with us—in every step of their ministry.
2. Believers & EI Team Members in Syria

Pray for protection as they live under new Islamic rules and cultural restrictions.
Pray that their Christmas worship would remain filled with courage and joy despite hostility, and ask the Lord to restore hope, strength, and unity amid severe pressure.

Pray for our girls’ school and ministry operating courageously in the country, and for the new work beginning in another region.
Pray for believers forced underground due to Taliban persecution, asking God to strengthen their faith and surround them with His protection.

Pray for Brother S’s daughter, brother, and mother, who are facing pressure and danger.
Pray for imprisoned believers to experience Christ’s peace and boldness, and for house churches to grow in wisdom and courage.

Pray for justice for those falsely accused and imprisoned, protection for Christian girls vulnerable to abduction and forced marriage, and ask God to restore safety, dignity, and freedom in Christ.
