As Christmas celebrations unfold around the world—and as many, including those who may not fully understand the meaning of Christmas, fill this season with noise, parties, entertainment, and even sacrilegious expressions—I often find myself asking: How have we drifted so far from the true purpose of Christmas?

What Is The Meaning Of Christmas?

To understand Christmas rightly, we must return to the very beginning—to the heart and character of God.

Christmas is not merely a story or a tradition; it is the revelation of a loving and holy God who created us in His image for fellowship with Himself. From the beginning, God’s purpose was relationship—a sanctified, free-willed people who would walk with Him, love Him, and worship Him in holiness.

But when humanity turned away—choosing independence over intimacy—sin shattered that fellowship. We became a broken creation, separated from the One who made us for Himself. And yet, in His unimaginable love, God Himself came down. In the person of Jesus Christ, God entered our world—not with wrath, but with an invitation.

The Mission of Endure International

Christmas is the story of God restoring what humanity had ruined. It is the story of the Creator pursuing His creation so that we might once again become His redeemed sons and daughters—restored to fellowship, hope, and purpose.

This is why, at Endure International, we are compelled to continue as tools in the Master’s hands. For us, the birth of Christ is not merely a historical event; it is a continual call from God to participate in the restoration He desires for all mankind.

Because Christ came, we go.
Because He reached out to us, we reach out to others.
Because He sought us in our lostness, we seek those who are still lost.

Why We Continue This Work

Every program we produce, every Bible lesson we translate, every follow-up message we send, and every online conversation we have with a seeker is rooted in this profound truth:

God is still restoring.
God is still calling.
God is still transforming lives through His Word.

And He has chosen us—ordinary people, ordinary tools—to participate in His extraordinary mission. Our media ministry is not simply content production; it is a lifeline of hope, reaching countless souls who long for the restoration that only Christ can bring.

Testimonies From Endure International Listeners In Cameroon

A message we recently received from Mr. Zonga in Cameroon beautifully captures why we do what we do. He writes:

“Greetings, beloved in the Lord. Peace and blessings to you in the studio. I thank the Lord for your Bible study program. This program travels the world, bringing hearts back to the Lord Jesus Christ and strengthening us believers—especially myself and my family.”

What a joy it is to witness the daily impact of God’s Word in the life of Mr. Zonga and his family. Testimonies like this give us every reason to celebrate God’s hand at work through this ministry.

Our task is simple: to present God’s Word clearly and faithfully, allowing the Spirit of God to accomplish the work of transformation in hearts and minds. In doing so, we rely not on our own strength, but on God’s power alone.

So, in this Christmas season—and amid the many loud and empty voices around us—let us quiet our minds and open our ears and hearts to hear and experience the joy of being reunited with our Savior.

The gift of new life and rebirth has been given to us through the coming of Jesus Christ. Why not join us in sharing this eternal truth, so that those around you may know and experience the true reason for the season?

May the Lord of Christmas be real to you and to those you love this season.

Wishing you a Christ-filled Christmas,
